Ten Alleged Members and Associates of Bloods Gang Indicted for Federal Racketeering
 

Ten alleged members of the Black Mob Gangstas/Donald Gee Family (BMG/DGF) Raleigh-area Bloods street gang, including its leaders, have been indicted in Raleigh, North Carolina, for conspiring to participate in a racketeering enterprise and related offenses. 

Acting Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Blanco of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney John Stuart Bruce for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Special Agent in Charge John A. Strong of the FBI’s North Carolina Division and Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown of the Raleigh Police Department made the announcement.

Newfane Dollar General Arrests

Sheriff James R. Voutour announces the arrest of Shawn K. Pittler, 28, and Brittany R. Ubiles, 30, both of Lockport on charges of Burglary 3rd degree, Petit Larceny, and Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Pittler and Ubiles are accused of forcing entry into the Dollar General Store, 6181 McKee Road, on January 30, 2017 at 11:27 p.m. and stealing cigarettes. Both were arraigned in Newfane Town Court by Justice Bruce Barnes and given a return date of February 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Ubiles bail was set at $1,000/$2,000 and Pittler was held without bail.

Sports Collectors Expo to Visit Batavia Downs This Weekend

A huge lineup of professional athletes — including several Hall of Famers and members of the Buffalo Bills, Braves and Sabres — are scheduled to appear at the Sports Collectors Expo Feb. 18 and 19 in Batavia. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Batavia Downs Gaming Center, 8315 Park Road, Batavia.
