Building Gingerbread Houses at St. John's School

Every year, Mrs. Cambria's Kindergarten class keeps tradition - building gingerbread houses for the Christmas season.  This year wasn't any different.  Most of the children's parents came in to help their child build his or her very own gingerbread house to take home.  Everyone brings in milk cartons, to serve as the house's frame, and graham crackers and various candies to decorate with.  This year the class had a special idea - turn their Thanksgiving teepee into a Christmas tree.  Father David Tourville even showed up to give the tree a special blessing after placing the Christmas angel on top.  This year's event was concluded with the singing of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing."
