TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY-The Town of Tonawanda Police and Crime Resistance Executive Board are holding a National Night Out event from 6-9 PM on Tuesday, August 3rd.

Everything will take place at the Lincoln Park Arena located at Parker Boulevard and Decatur; and it's all free.

Activities include fingerprinting, DNA and videotaping for kids, police demonstrations and displays, a smokehouse trailer, petting zoo, face painting, balloon making, fire trucks, McGruff the Crime dog and the town's new K-9 dog Tank will give a demonstration. Weather permitting, a helicopter landing is also planned.

Police Chief Anthony Palombo and Town Supervisor Anthony Caruana will lead a "glow stick" walk against crime and drugs at dusk. Glow sticks will be provided.
