Sufism Classes  "Spiritual Dimension of Islam"

Turkish Cultural Center at Buffalo, in coordination with Intercultural Understanding Club of UB, is organizing weekly Sufism 101 (Introduction to Sufism) classes in Spring 2015.

Classes are held every Monday between 5:30PM-7:00PM starting February 2, 2015. The classes are free of charge and open to the public.

Course Description:

Lectures are designed to give an understanding of Sufism, generally defined as the spiritual or inner dimension of Islam. This is an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the ritual practices of Islam.  We will also consider how it moves beyond the usual rituals to special gnostic forms considered as Sufism.
