City of Tonawanda, New York: Rick Davis, Mayor of City of Tonawanda has made an accouncement "City Hall and the courts will close this Friday at 4pm due to electrical upgrades and will remain closed through Monday March 20th. Both City Hall and the courts will resume normal operations on Tuesday March 21st. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause for our residents."

NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED: However due to recent high demand, please be advised, that a proper install can take up to 45 minutes and at times there is a waiting line. So please be patient. *if it is safe to do so, we urge you to bring the child that will be using the seat that you would like inspected/installed.

Buffalo Police Announce Bicycle Collection with East Side Bicycle Club

BUFFALO, NY: The Buffalo Police Department would like to announce to the public that we will be accepting donations of new or used bikes for a joint bike giveaway sponsored by the BPD, Go Bike Buffalo and the East Side Bike Club. These bikes will be used in workshops with officers and citizens of Buffalo, which offer basic bike maintenance and bike safety classes. Bikes in all conditions can be dropped off at all City of Buffalo Police Stations. Bike drive begins March 10th and runs till April 10th. ALL BIKES WILL DISTRIBUTED TO CHILDREN THROUGHOUT BUFFALO AT SCHEDULED EVENTS DURING THE SPRING AND SUMMER. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

As a religious figure Staint Patrick is widely respected by Christian believers. He was born in Britain. He is more closely attributed to Ireland, where he past away. He was an atheist as a child and as he matured, so did his religious beliefs. He went on to preach moral values and spirituality, becoming very popular in Ireland.

The Shamrock is a symbol of the holiday, mostly because the three leaf clover of spring is used to preach the importance of the Holy Trinity, how according the believers that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are sourced of one entity.

The Saint’s autobiographical work titled “Confessio” has been a source of inspiration for many.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — For the 9th consecutive year, the Buffalo Bills and M&T Bank are calling on fans to nominate Western New York’s “Hall of Fame-caliber” educators for the 2017 M&T Bank Touchdown for Teachers program, which recognizes local teachers for extraordinary service to their schools and communities.

This year, the Bills and M&T are hoping to gather the most nominations in the program’s history. To make it happen, they’re challenging each of the schools throughout the 15-county region that is eligible for the competition to nominate at least one of their outstanding teachers.
