They’re back! The new lottery calendars will run from July 1 through December 31, 2015 and the winning numbers will be based upon the Pennsylvania State Lottery Evening Numbers. We received many positive responses to our last calendar – winners were absolutely delighted to get an unexpected prize check! And thanks to everyone who participated, it was a successful fundraiser for the parish!

The fun starts with your $20 donation for the calendars which are available at all church entrances and at the parish office. It is as easy as filling out the stub at the bottom and returning it with your check or cash via the collection basket or bringing or mailing  it to the parish office.

Western New Yorkers will be able to turn to their smartphones for information on child care, Thruway conditions, rental properties, landlords and other topics, thanks to creativity and innovation that emerged from the 2014 AT&T Western New York Civic App Challenge.

The winners of the two-month “virtual hackathon” were announced Dec. 4 by AT&T, along with community partners including the University at Buffalo, State University of New York at Fredonia, Z80 Labs Technology Incubator, InfoTech Niagara, Launch NY, United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, d!g Buffalo and Hack Upstate.
