International Expert on Brain Health Will Speak at Weinberg Campus on 4/4

Weinberg Campus is bringing Paul Nussbaum, Ph.D., L.H., an international expert on brain health, to speak on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 7 pm and will present Save Your Brain based on his most recent book.

The seminar will be held at Weinberg Campus, 2700 North Forest Road, Getzville, New York.  Seating is limited for this high-demand speaker.  Please R.S.V.P. by calling 512-0925.

Dr. Nussbaum is a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in aging across the lifespan and brain health. He provides national and international lectures on the human brain, brain-behavior relations, diseases of the brain, and brain health promotion.  His latest book Save Your Brain is one of AARP’s top books on brain fitness.

The number of Alzheimer’s cases – the leading causes of dementia in the U.S. – will increase to fifteen million or more by the middle of this century.  According to Nussbaum, we have the ability to proactively save the health of our brains. “Save Your Brain” provides you with the basic understanding of the mechanics of the brain and will teach techniques to ward off memory loss, improve brain performance, and increase mental fitness by implementing a brain healthy lifestyle.

“Your brain is the center of your identity,” states Nussbaum in his introduction to Save Your Brain – The 5 Things You Must Do to Keep Your Mind Young and Sharp.  “While the brain is fragile, it is also the most magnificent system every designed, capable of more than we presently know and deserving of a lifetime’s dedication to health.”

With a home base in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Nussbaum maintains an Adjunct Professor of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He provides national and international lectures on the human brain, brain-behavior relations, diseases of the brain, and brain health promotion. Dr. Nussbaum also serves as a consultant to different organizations and companies throughout the United States. Find more information at his website:  www.paulnussbaum.com
