Community Resource Events Open to Erie County Residents

All county residents are invited to a pair of community resource events that will offer families assistance in finding needed programs and assistance.

The Mobile Safety-Net Team, a basic human needs initiative supported by the John R. Oishei Foundation, will hold two informational sessions in conjunction with the Lancaster Family Resource Center. The events will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Lancaster Library, 5466 Broadway, and from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in the cafeteria at Lancaster Middle School, 148 Aurora St., Lancaster.

The team and area agencies will provide residents with the opportunity to learn about community events, programs and organizations.  Also, information and assistance with health insurance, senior services, youth programs, parks and recreation, housing and legal services, counseling and support services, food assistance, energy assistance, Food Stamp applications and more will be available.
