St. John's Celebrates Catholic Schools Week

St. John’s students had a great time during Catholic Schools Week.  Each day they celebrated with a different fun activity.

Monday, the students dressed up and attended mass to open up the week.  They were then treated with a donut breakfast.

Tuesday, they wore silly socks and were treated to a great performance by the St. Joe’s Swing Choir.

Wednesday, everyone got a special surprise – a day off – thanks to the snowy weather.

Thursday, the students dressed out of uniform and wore crazy hats.  Through the course of the day, music would play throughout the school and everyone would get up and dance.  Some classes were even visited by the school principal, Mrs. Jacobs.  In the afternoon, everyone played BINGO over the PA system.  Prizes were awarded for the winners.

Friday, St. John’s really showed their school spirit by wearing the school colors – blue and white.  In the gymnasium, there was a friendly competition as they participated in an energy-filled obstacle course.

St. John’s can’t wait until next year’s Catholic Schools Week to do it all over again!
