Children's Author Visits St. John’s School

St. John the Baptist School's students were treated to two lively and informative presentations by children's author, Susan Wojciechowski.  She told the children in order to become an author, it's best to write "what you know about" - everyday events and people you care about.

Susan's favorite book, other than her Beany series, is The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey, which receieved an ALA Notable Book of the Year award and was made into a major motion picture!

The event concluded with a luncheon including two students from each grade level.  Susan enjoyed their questions and comments.
