Buffalo Fan Fest to Feature Kelly, Reed, Smith, Thomas and More

Come see the most former Buffalo Bills and Hall of Fame players in one place that anyone has seen in decades! Buffalo Fan Fest, an exclusive fan tailgate experience, will feature Hall of Fame players Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas and coach Marv Levy. In addition, former Bills’ stars including Fred Jackson, Eric Moulds, Lee Evans, Darryl Talley, Scott Norwood, Booker Edgerson, Jeff Nixon, Pete Metzelaars, Roscoe Parrish and more will participate.

Eight local not-for-profit organizations will experience an exciting and exclusive game-day experience during the 2017-18 Buffalo Bills season thanks to M&T Bank.

M&T Bank is again donating eight gameday tickets in ‘The Comfort Zone,’ a private section within the M&T Club, to eight local not-for-profit organizations as a ‘thank you’ for their service to the Western New York community. The Comfort Zone features a private club entrance, comfortable lounge seating and complimentary food and beverages.

Buffalo Bandits’ Dhane Smith Added to Collectors’ Expo Lineup

Dhane Smith, star forward for the Buffalo Bandits and 2016 National Lacrosse League MVP, will  visit the Collector’s Expo from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 9, for a free autograph event. The Collectors’ Expo will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road, Buffalo.

Selected in the first round (fifth overall) of the 2012 NLL Entry Draft, the Kitchener, Ontario native was also a 2016 First Team All-Pro and was named to the All-Rookie Team in 2013. During his NLL career, he has recorded 185 goals and 243 assists in just 83 regular season games, plus 23 goals and 26 assists in nine playoff game appearances.

And thanks to the teamwork and talent of a local artist and an artisan print shop, limited-edition Andre Reed prints will be available at the first ever Collectors’ Expo taking place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Buffalo Irish Center. First Ever Collectors’ Expo Coming Saturday to the Buffalo Irish Center

Mark your calendars for Western New York’s very first Collectors’ Expo! Featuring more than 30 vendors and 50 tables of unique merchandise, the event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 in the historic Buffalo Irish Center, located at 245 Abbott Road in South Buffalo.

Vendor and artisan offerings will include sports memorabilia, locally made artwork and handcrafted products, collectible coins, music memorabilia and records, comic books, photography, political memorabilia, movie and theatre memorabilia, car and train memorabilia, jewelry, fossils and minerals, antiques and much more.

Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association Plans Learn to Row Classes

Interested in rowing in the heart of Buffalo and enjoying unique sites such as the grain elevators and Canalside from the water? Looking for a good workout, want to learn a new skill or just have some fun with a great bunch of people?

The Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association (BSRA) will host six Learn to Row classes for adults from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 to 10 a.m. Sundays from Aug. 13-24. Participants will meet at the BSRA boathouse at 405 Ohio St. in Buffalo, and the cost is $200 for the six sessions.
