Senator Grisanti Sponsors Free E-Waste Recycling Event in Tonawanda Saturday

BUFFALO, NY-October 3, 2012- Senator Mark Grisanti (R-Tonawanda) today urged all local citizens and businesses to join him at a free event on Saturday October 6, 2012 to properly dispose of electronic items from computers to televisions.

“As the chairman of the New York State Senate Environmental Conservation Committee, I think it is essential that electronic items are disposed of properly.  Since we are constantly updating technology, the number of items found lying around or thrown in the garbage has drastically increased,” said Senator Grisanti. “This event will provide a chance for people to clean out their homes and find a way to dispose of their trash safely.”

The 1st E-Waste Recycling Event of Tonawanda will provide professional disposal of items both large and small to ensure they do not end up harming the environment.  People can bring items such as computer monitors, printers, fax machines, home phones, televisions, and video game consols to dispose of properly.  Load up the car and professionals will unload at site.

The free E-Waste Recycling Event takes place at St. Amelia School, 2999 Eggert Road, Tonawanda, on Saturday October 6, 2012. from 9 AM to 2 PM.. courtesy of Senator Mark Grisanti (R-Buffalo) and SunnKing Electronic Recycling.
