Senator Grisanti Sponsors Disabled American Veterans Info Seminar

Disabled American Veterans Information Seminar Saturday, October 27

Senator Mark Grisanti (R- Buffalo) today announced a chance for local disabled veterans to obtain answers to questions about state benefits and services during an information seminar at Erie Community College’s South Campus.  An officer from the National Service Office of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will facilitate questions from the community and provide counseling for ways to navigate the system.

“Our disabled veterans deserve to be supported and cared for in recognition of their sacrifice for this country.  While the state government provides a multitude of benefits for this protected class of citizens, it is often hard to know what is available or how to apply for the appropriate benefits. I hope that this informational seminar will prove to be a good resource for all veterans who seek answers or assistance,” said New York State Senator Mark Grisanti (R-60).
