TONAWANDA, N.Y. - Nine-year-old Tonawanda resident Anna Stang, who started making blankets for chemotherapy patients after seeing her aunt get cold during treatments, was named one of five national winners of Farm Rich’s 2010 "Kids Who Give" contest on Monday.

Her “Blankets of Love” efforts include raising money, creating blankets and delivering them to people in need.

More than 14,000 votes were cast by the public, and Anna was one of the top vote getters because of support from the Buffalo area. She is receiving a $1000 donation check for her Blankets of Love charity, a $300 gift card and a Farm Rich product care package as the prize.
